DID EVE BITE THE APPLE?
Question... Do you think Religious guilt suppresses women's sexuality? Sex researcher Alfred Kinsey found, in the words of political analyst Debbie Taylor, that "religious beliefs had little or no effect on a man's sexual pleasure, but could slice as powerfully as the circumcision knife into a woman's enjoyment, undermining with guilt and shame any pleasure she might otherwise experience."
So is that why Eve took a bite from the Apple? Another question one should ask is why she then offered the apple to Adam? Was she angry? or was she simply trying to seduce Adam to her every beck and call?
The image above suggests an evolvement with history. At least that's my intention. Adam and Eve came before Christ, and the fruit of desire was making it's debut. Now the Bible says that Eve was taken from one of Adam's ribs and created as a woman. I for one, persoanlly by faith beleive that. It's what she does after her creation that either puzzles and or angers so many men and women today.
One of my fans wrote to me to ask the question, "Did Eve make love to Adam before biting the apple or after the bite was taken? I'm not sure I know the true answer to that becuase I wasn't there and neither were you. We all have our beliefs and theories that we subscribe to, and there in lies yor answer.
But let's go back to the first question. Do you think religious guilt suppresses women's sexuality? Technically, the female organs are what the older religions feared as "the insatiable cunt." Capable of multiple orgasm, continual orgasm, a sharp and breathtaking clitoral orgasm, an orgasm seemingly centered in the vagina that is emotionally overwhelming, orgasm from having the breasts stroked, and of endless variations of all those responses combined, women's capacity for gential pleasure is theoretically inexhaustible.
Now I'm sure for all the men reading this, that's the best news you've heard or read in a very long time. But hold on I'm not finished yet. Did you know that even the most aggressive women in the world have submissive fantasies?
In a study of women in the United States, Dr. E. Hariton found that 49 percent had submissive sexual fantasies. In 1989 a U.K. civil suit brought by a woman raped by her physiotherapist was denied becuase it was suggested that she had fantasized the rape and that such fantasies are common among women.
If women and men in great numbers were to form bonds that were equal, nonviolent, and sexual, honoring the female principle no less or more than the male, the result would be more radical than the establishment's worst nightmares of homosexual "conversions." A mass heterosexual deviation into tenderness and mutual respect would mean real trouble for the status quo since heterosexuals are the most powerful sexual majority. The power structure would ace a massive shift of allegiances: From each relationship might emerge a doubled commitment to transform society into one based publicly on what have traditionally been women's values, demonstrating all too well the appeal for both sexes of a world rescued from male dominance.
If men and women are to ever have intense loving committed relationships, both sexes have GOT to forget to whom Satan (the snake) handed the apple. That my thought. write to me and tell me yours!
